By using MyVenueBook, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account, submitting an inquiry, or making a payment.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MyVenueBook ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law.
2. Service Scope
MyVenueBook is an online marketplace that helps customers discover and book wedding venues and related event service providers, including but not limited to makeup artists, decorators, photographers, caterers, kids activity providers, and grand entry services.
We act as a booking and discovery platform. Vendors listed on MyVenueBook are independent businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MyVenueBook does not itself provide venue or vendor services and is not a party to the underlying service contract between customer and vendor beyond facilitating introductions, inquiries, proposals, and payments through the platform.
3. Accounts and Accuracy
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or booking.
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.
- Update your contact details so we can reach you about inquiries and bookings.
- Use the platform only for lawful personal or business event-related purposes.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, abuse the platform, or violate these terms.
4. Bookings, Proposals, and Payments
Inquiries, proposals, advance amounts, and confirmation steps may vary by venue or vendor. Booking status, amounts due, and next actions are shown in your MyVenueBook dashboard.
- Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Razorpay).
- Advance and other platform payments are subject to our No Refund Policy.
- A booking is not fully confirmed until the applicable payment and confirmation steps shown on the platform are completed.
- Remaining balances, if any, may be payable directly to the vendor as agreed in the proposal or booking details.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Review venue/vendor details, packages, dates, and proposal terms before accepting.
- Communicate event requirements clearly and in a timely manner.
- Arrive and use booked services as scheduled, subject to vendor policies.
- Contact MyVenueBook before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors using MyVenueBook agree to:
- Provide accurate listings, pricing, availability, and portfolio content.
- Honour confirmed bookings and communicate promptly about changes.
- Use customer data only to fulfill the requested service.
- Comply with applicable laws, licenses, and tax obligations.
MyVenueBook may remove listings or restrict vendor access for misleading information, repeated cancellations, poor conduct, or policy violations.
7. Platform Role and Disclaimers
Venue availability, final pricing, service quality, staffing, décor execution, food safety, photography output, and on-ground delivery are the responsibility of the respective vendor. Estimates and descriptions on the platform are informational and may change until confirmed in writing through a proposal or booking confirmation.
MyVenueBook does not guarantee that a preferred date, venue, or vendor will remain available, or that a replacement can be arranged if a vendor cancels.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyVenueBook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the platform or from services provided by third-party vendors.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform shall not exceed the platform fees actually paid by you to MyVenueBook for the specific booking giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Intellectual Property
MyVenueBook branding, website design, software, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or reuse platform materials without prior written permission, except as permitted by law. Vendor portfolio content remains owned by the respective vendor or rights holder.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or overload the service.
- Submit fraudulent inquiries, bookings, or payment information.
- Harass users, vendors, or MyVenueBook staff.
- Use the platform to solicit users off-platform in a way that circumvents fees in bad faith where fees apply.
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or misleading content.
11. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, fraud, policy violations, or security risks. We may also modify or discontinue parts of the service to improve reliability, compliance, or user safety.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MyVenueBook harmless against claims, losses, or liabilities arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, inaccurate information you provide, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from use of MyVenueBook shall be subject to the competent courts in India.
